Spacious rooms. 1st floor on back is noisier than the last visit, when we had the 3rd floor on the front overlooking the park. It's nice that we are able to open the window for fresh air. It's the staff that makes the place, makes the visit enjoyable. We'll keep coming back. . The beds are still not comfortable. The floors need a deep cleaning. My wife encountered and killed a German cockroach in the bathroom. But, it was the only insect we saw for the entire visit. . They supply almost everything you need. There IS a valuables safe, but it's small.. There is a burro and plancha. They supply shampoo and soap. The shower is very clean, the water is hot. We always bring our own towels for hotel visits, but their towels are ok. I used one of their towels. It was ok. . The elevator does not bounce or stop hard when it starts and stops. That is very nice. .. This was our first visit where we ate at the restaurant, and we were highly impressed. The food is fantastic. We noticed many people coming in off the streets to eat there. My parents owned restaurants when I was a kid... So... I know... If the locals come to eat at your restaurant, you know you're doing something right. I can't say enough good about the restaurant. We did not stay for breakfast because there was not enough time. We'll do the breakfast next visit, if time permits us. I had the club sandwich and the cream of mushroom soup. My wife had the chicken tacos. We shared a jar of lime water. The total bill was under $300 pesos. Great prices. . There is a most beautiful park across the street, and it is very large we walked through it and around it before we had dinner. Morelia is such a beautiful city, and the Hotel Diana is set right in one of the most beautiful parts of the city. . The aqueduct is on the opposite side of the park, if you want photos. The statue of Morelos is on the opposite side of the aqueduct.

I liked the tile floors instead of carpet. I liked how clean the room was. I liked that we could open the window after the storm and get fresh air. I liked how big, and how quiet the room was. I liked the fact that there is an elevator. I like the television, with very good clear color. The bathroom had a functional hair dryer. The iron was functional. The room had a safe for paperwork. We liked the room, overall. There is basement parking for large vehicles. There is a restaurant but we didn't have time to try it.

The staff members were friendly, polite, and helpful. A young front desk receptionist by the name of Misael was exceptionally helpful. He directed me to an area where he thought I could find a "casa de cambio", and he was also kind enough to request an uber ride for me. Thanks to Misael, I was able to exchange dollars for pesos in a safe area, and I was able to reach the location in a safe mode of transport.
